Andrew Matthews, Manager, Practice Development, The Pharmacy Guild of Australia
I am writing to acknowledge the support of LMI Group, and thank you for the partnership we have established in utilising your unique Continuity Coach software for the Pharmacy Guild of Australia’s ‘Pandemic Influenza Preparedness Program’. As you are aware The Guild is responsible for rolling out an Australian Government funded Department of Health and Ageing pandemic preparedness program for community pharmacy around Australia. One element of the Program allows for community pharmacies to establish their own Business Continuity Plan (BCP) in preparation for a pandemic infuenza event, via a subscription to Continuity Coach software. We expect up to 2,000 pharmacies around the country to enrol in the Program and have access to Continuity Coach.
Most BCP software is designed for large businesses and organisations. The insurance arm of Guild Group (a Pharmacy Guild subsidiary) had previously undertaken extensive research in the market to identify a useful utility to assist community pharmacy approach risk management. They identified that LMI Group’s Continuity Coach software is unique in managing risk and developing a business continuity plan for small business, and community pharmacy.
Please also pass on my thanks to your staff. John Worthington, and your software design team Andrew Aisbett and Khan Thompson have been excellent in meeting with us to discuss, and make modifications to the software to simplify it for community pharmacy and make it more specific for our Program. Their support at our recent BCP Workshop as part of the Guild’s APP 2010 Conference was outstanding. The feedback from the 72 registrants who attended the workshop and completed their BCP using computers on-site was very positive.
I wish you every success with your business and Continuity Coach software. I hope this letter gives you the confidence to pursue further business opportunities. I am happy for you to use this letter in support of other ventures you may tender for.

Developing a workable Business Continuity Plan was a must for Dairy Food Safety Victoria. Kevin Fitzgerald from the LMI group provided us with an excellent basis upon which to build our strategy. Each area of the organisation was assessed, encompassing a structure for developing acceptable workarounds and a plan for managing the recovery. This meant that Dairy Food Safety Victoria was able to tailor the Business Continuity Plan to meet the specific requirements of our organisation and the expectations of our stakeholders. Staff were taken through the various stages of business recovery and given assistance to develop comprehensive documentation that will enable further fine tuning as our situation demands. Kevin’s insight and experience were invaluable in Dairy Food Safety Victoria’s transition to adopting a tested and accepted Business Continuity Plan.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
INSURANCE AND BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT (BCM)
As part of our risk services to clients, we believe our clients need to consider Business Continuity Management based on the DR/BC/Crisis Plan that is compliant with Standards and is therefore correctly assembled, maintained and regularly exercised.
We recently recommended such a system to a major client and were very pleased with the outcome. As part of our overall service, we successfully negotiated significant premium concessions with underwriters. Part of our presentation to underwriters contained details of ContinuityCoach.com, the unique web based BCM system that is simple to operate and is a low cost.
Our concept of risk services we offer to all our clients is better protection for their business along with value for money.
We recommend ContinuityCoach.com for consideration by all organisations. Even if you have a DR or BC Plan it may be worthwhile to benchmark the work you have carried out to identify gaps before they appear after real time accidents.
